VIP launch evening at McDonald’s. Now your reaction was probably the same as mine. A black carpet event to launch a burger? Well not just any burger this is the fabulous new McDonald’s Signature Burger collection.
A wonderful trio of burgers. Classic, BBQ and Spicy.
What’s in your burger?
Michelin chefs have had a hand in this burger creation and you can certainly tell. Exceptional quality British and Irish beef are the key ingredient to these extremely filling burgers. Fresh, wholesome, premium ingredients. The Signature Burger is served on a brioche style bun. Usually I find these overly sweet but the recipe for these buns is just so perfectly right.
The Signature Collection
The Classic is served with cheese, bacon, onion, lettuce and mayo.
The BBQ is served with a tasty smoky BBQ sauce, coleslaw, cheese, bacon, onions and lettuce.
The Spicy is served with Pepper Jack cheese, jalapeños, hot & spicy mayo and a spicy relish.
These 3 varieties of substantial burgers are served up with absolute pride in the product and rightly so. McDonald’s have taken fast food dining to another level with these premium burgers.
I opted for the BBQ Signature Burger. I will let the photographs speak for themselves.
The signature meal deal is just £5.89. The freshness and quality of the burger in any other restaurant would easily be worthy of a £12 to £15 price tag.
For the launch events designer Julien Macdonald collaborated with McDonald’s to create the fabulous limited edition signature box packaging. The one off bejewelled box which was on display and carefully guarded for the evening, will be auctioned at the end of the launch events for charity.
I was super thrilled at my limited edition (only 1,000) copy of the bejewelled box containing a gold pin M logo that I was given to take home. Perfect as I have the same initials as Julien!
I am not exactly the McDonalds demographic but I am certainly a convert and will definitely be sampling the signature burger again very soon. I wholeheartedly recommend you give it a try.
